Making Sense of Forces Changing the WorldTom Friedman has been writing for several decades about the political, social and environmental issues that affect all of us. We will read and discuss his latest book, Thank You for Being Late, in which he outlines how the onslaught of technology, globalization, climate change, loss of biodiversity and the impact of their interactions are affecting everyone. He proposes an optimistic path to the future by showing that if we slow down, dare to be late and use the time to re-imagine changes we can make, the world could be a better place without miracle cures. Please read p.1 -37 for the first session.
