Immigration - Pre-registration is now CLOSED.
The United States includes many groups who brought their own language, religion, political beliefs, and cultural traditions. Once a national government was formed, laws and regulations were written to control new immigration and citizenship. This series will examine the history of immigration and current policy in the U.S. and other countries. Join us in examining a range of viewpoints as we try to understand immigration, both as a set of regulations and as a human experience which alters many lives. November 8 lecture starts at 9:30 a.m. No lecture on November 22.
