Hands-on History: Everyday Women and Politics
Before women had the right to vote in America, how did they engage with politics in their everyday lives? Join staff at the Clements Library for a hands-on session reading, interpreting, and discussing historical materials produced before 1920. After you are shown how to handle the selected documents, you will have a chance to look for clues about how politics infiltrated women’s regular lives and participate in a guided conversation about your findings.
