Mindful Self-compassion
This course will introduce participants to the principles of Mindful Self-compassion (MSC). Self-compassion can be defined as learning to treat yourself the way you would treat a good friend when they suffer, fall short, or fail in some way. MSC combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience. Mindfulness is the first step in emotional healing. It’s being able to turn toward and acknowledge our difficult thoughts and feelings (such as inadequacy, sadness, anger, confusion) with a spirit of openness and curiosity.
