Jonathan Quint, University of Michigan Department of History PhD candidate and Clements Library Intern, will discuss his research on how the ordinary
people of the Detroit River region experienced the imposition of the U.S.- Canadian border in 1796 and his work with the Clements and UM faculty to create
instructional
activities that connect students with the archives.
