What the Heck is Abstract Art?For thirty-five thousand years people have been making art. How, and perhaps even why we chose the first decades of the twentieth century to start making art with no reference to the visible, tangible world are the puzzles this group will try to untangle. I am a semi-retired artist living in Ann Arbor. Most of the product of my studio has been liturgical art. However, that which has not been liturgical has been abstract. I can’t get enough of it, and keep wondering why. So I began putting this discussion group together.
