Almost, Maine Pre-Shaw DiscussionJoin director Kat Walsh for a pre-show discussion of A2CT’s production of Almost, Maine by John Cariani. The NYT writes: “Almost, Maine is a series of nine amiably absurdist vignettes about love, with a touch of good-natured magic realism[.] ... This is a beautifully structured play, with nifty surprise endings[.] ... Mr. Cariani describes the play’s subject as ‘falling in and out of love.’ It is just as much about pain.” The discussion will focus on an aspect of dramaturgy, directorial choices, or stage design. Tickets are $17, to be paid for at the pre-show discussion.
