Dr, Jeffrey Kullgren
Dr. Kullgren’s research aims to develop innovative and scalable interventions to help patients and clinicians make sound health care decisions. He will talk about the work of the University of Michigan /
AARP National Poll on Healthy Aging, which helps inform the public, clinicians, and policymakers on issues central to the health and health care of older Americans by conducting periodic nationally
representative surveys of US adults age 50-80.
Dr. Kullgren is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School and a Research Scientist in the Center for Clinical Management Research at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System.
He holds undergraduate and medical degrees from Michigan State University and a Master of
Public Health degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency at Brigham and
Women’s Hospital and was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar at the University of
Pennsylvania. He serves as Associate Director of IHPI’s National Poll on Healthy Aging.
